NY (nylon): widely used, aqueous and organic phases can be used, alkali resistant but not acid resistant, strong protein binding capacity, not recommended for protein-containing liquid filtration

PES (polyethersulfone): suitable for the aqueous phase, low protein adsorption, suitable for filtration of biological media or serum, etc., fast filtration speed

CA (cellulose acetate) and MCE (mixed cellulose): suitable for aqueous phase, narrow pH tolerance range

RC (regenerated cellulose): more chemically compatible, but not resistant to strong acids and bases, low protein adsorption

PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride): high chemical compatibility, low protein adsorption, but cannot filter DMSO

PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene): hydrophobic membrane filters organic phase, hydrophilic membrane can be used for both aqueous and organic phases, most chemically compatible, almost universal

Bioland™ non-sterile needle filters

Widely used in gravimetric analysis, microanalysis, colloidal separation, and aseptic testing. They are also suitable for sample preparation, purification, pre-treatment for HPLC, MS, LC-MS, and other analytical instruments, preparation of biological products, filtration of liquid samples such as tissue culture media and buffer solutions, purification and clarification of corrosive solutions, filtration of small quantities of samples, removal of impurities and precipitation from samples.
